You dont actually specify what his job is, so its kind of hard to judge wether or not he likes you because yes he could like you BUT depending on his job, he could just be doing those things because its what he has to do.

We don't know whether he likes you as a woman, or as a friend, or as a patient.
I would suggest though, to not read too much into this. I know it is nice to think that someone likes us, but I have few experiences in these and when I read it wrong, I got really heartbroken eventually. So just be nice to him as friends, and if he makes a move then you know he is interested in you. But if not, maybe you are just friends.
